Swanmon's Request

"Now we run up to the hilltop now what do we do?" asked Takasaki.
"Well do we need to meet the Swanmon?" asked Yuki.

- Swanmon! Over here! - shouts Alex.

"Swanmon." called the twins.

((You gotta be kidding... -sweatdrop- Don't you know that this quest is rated Easy? NO ULTIMATE DIGIMON! lol Sorry, didn't mean to shout.))

Let's just say we wiped out all the invading digimon and moved on with the story, okay? ^.^

Swanmon landed gracefully with the digidestined. She looked sad.

"What's wrong?" Aurora asked.

"Oh, nothing. Just that I'm sad that all these digimon were killed." Swanmon said. "But it has to be done for the good of everyone." She coughed. "So, we should have a proper introduction. I'm Swanmon, the guardian of this village. Those digimon you just fought, they are from Blaze and Frost Village..." She then told the digidestined the whole story. (See the first post if you didn't catch that.)

"But that's not all. We used to all live in harmony, but one day everyone started fighting each other..." Swanmon sighed.

"So what do you think that happened that changed all that?" Lopmon asked.

"I... I think it's..." Swanmon whispered. "Devimon."

"Devimon!?"

IceLeomon de-digivolved to Chinmon.
- It... Was Devimon, - sighed he - He made us fighting with all our strength. Sorry, Swanmon.
Firamon de-digivolved to Coronamon.
- It felt like something was burning in us. Awfull pain and will to destroy that nasty creatures that attacked this village. Vaporate them for what they`ve made. We are sorry...

"That's okay..." Swanmon smiled gently.

"Can I ask you a question?" Swanmon nodded, and Lopmon continued. "If Devimon was the one behind this, then how come the digimon in the village aren't..."

"Holy power." She replied. "We all each have a destiny ring or a holy ring. It resists the dark power. Everyone in the village... Well, except Patamon..."

The orange digimon popped out of nowhere. "Swanmon..." It whimpered.

Lopmon immediately felt something's wrong with that Patamon. Aurora looked closer, and realized that this Patamon, instead of having heavenly blue eyes, its eyes are golden. Also unlike most Patamon, who are lean even though they are pig digimon, this one has a flap of fat skin on its belly.

"What's wrong, Patamon?" The bird digimon asked.

"I... saw him..."

"Devimon!?" She gasped.

"No, not Devimon. But it's him... dedigivolved. He's Demi-Devimon, and he's at a cave near our village."

- He de-digivolved? - Coronamon`s head flame became really hot - Let`s go and desintegrate that awfull digimon!
- Yeah! - Chinmon`s eyes became red.
- Chinmon! Coronamon! - R.S. ald Alex were surprised - What`s with you?

"Devimon is the evil digimon who like to destroy digimons they serve the dark lords." says Takasaki.
"We saw this information on our father's computer." says Yuki.
"It's like this when our parents came here." says Takasaki.

"So, what should we do? Should we just go there and delete Demi-devimon?" Aurora asked. "That seems like the easiest way."

"I don't know about this, Aurora." Lopmon said quietly. "I don't feel well." He moaned.

Swanmon thought for a moment. "Let's see. We can either go to the cave and attack Devimon while it is in its Rookie form, or we can just go and try to talk sense into the leader of the other 4 villages. Which one will you choose, digidestined?"

"Well, it seems to me that we won't be able to talk sense into them unless we destroy Devimon first. I vote Option One." Aurora said.

"I don't know..." Lopmon said slowly. "I think that it would be better to take a more peaceful approach and let's not fight until we have to. Plus, what if we're wrong? We might just destroy an innocent digimon. Option Two, I'll say."

Aurora rolled her eyes. "Yeah, like a Demi-devimon can be innocent."

Patamon looked at everyone. "I want to go with you." He said. "I'll accompany you no matter what you choose. I really want to stop all the fighting."

"I think I'll choose option 1." says Yuki.
"Me too." says Takasaki

- DemiDevimon is quite evil digimon... - said Alex.
- He is just a digimon, - replied R.S. - He can be good, he can be bad. We can`t know for sure. I think it`s better to choose option three - come and talk to DemiDevimon. Not fight, but just talk.

"If it dosen't listen you put us all in trouble." says Takasaki.
"Well it's worth trying." says Yuki.

"Dick, Hollen, what do you think?" Swanmon looked at the two.

((Speak now or forever hold your peace... I know, the saying is terrible, but it applies quite to the situation.))

//Hollen is not up here for no idea for how many days..//

- Okay, let`s try to talk to Demimeramon... - R.S. turned to Swanmon - I believe something is holding his mind, taking over the digimon. Swanmon, will you help us?

If Hollen doesnt come i'll be happy to take his place.

((Let's wait for a few days for Hollen. As for you, Burnt, you can join whenever you feel like. The max player limit is not being followed currently in this Quest (we have 6 players currently, one above the limit, lol), so I don't think anyone will mind if we bent the rules again, right? ))

Well....actually the more digidestined the more fun the quest is! ^v^

((Okay, let's get this thing back on. I almost forgot about it.))

"In that case, let's follow Patamon to Demidevimon." Lopmon said.

"I'll stay in the village in case anything happens." Swanmon said. "You digidestined go ahead."

So the digidestined, their digimon, and Patamon left the village. They arrived at a giant dead tree. Perched on the top of the dead oak was Demi-devimon. It looked just like a normal Demi-devimon, except he wore a bandana so that it covered where the skull symbol of a normal Demi-devimon's forehead would be. There were Pagumons all around the tree, chatting and screaming.

"Look, there he is!" Patamon pointed to Demi-devimon. "I saw Devimon turn into him."

The Demi-devimon blinked and saw the digidestined. He grinned nervously. "Hello, Patamon. Hello, digidestines." And then he turned to escape with his puny bat-like wings.

"He's getting away!" Patamon shouted.

"Lopmon!" Aurora said. Her digimon partner begin flying towards DemiDevimon, but Lopmon's too slow.

"Card Slash!" Aurora took out a card. "Speed Activate!"

The bat digimon suddenly turned around. "I'm sorry about this but... Demi Darts!" A bunch of darts appeared and he whirled them at Lopmon.

- Tail Overlight! - shouted Chinmon appearing near Lopmon. Flash of light blinded DemiDevimon while he was shooting darts so he missed.
- Be carefull, - said Chinmon to Lapmon and then swiftly turned to DemiDevimon - S, you wanna fight? Tail overlight!
He shot a firing missle at DemiDevimon.
