A Virus of a Soul: Entrance to the Darkness

- Hecate... - Dracmon`s voice sounded like a snake - Come here...
Another digimon has flyed from the darkness. It was Falcomon; seems she was under Dracmon`s control.
- I can sence someon here... I need fresh data... - Dracmon turned around, too far from Kuro and NeoDevimon to notice their presence - Find it...

Noah swallowed. Perfect, if the demon wasn't going to get him, the bird definitely will. There was no way out. Or is there?

He glanced around. He was in a deep cave, and he wasn't sure which way is out. Well, there's no time left. Gathering all the courage he had, Noah jumped out of his hiding place and ran the opposite direction from the bird and the demon.

Both digimon turned heads in his direction.
- I can hear him from now! - Dracmon turned towards escaping Node - Get him!
- Yes... - Falcomon named Hecate swiftly turned around and slashed her wings, getting in the air to pursue the boy.

"R.S!!!?" cried Yuki who was avoiding the battle between Kuro and the digimon.

"Maybe he forgotten about you?" asked Monodramon.

"Let's go look for him." said Yuki and start walking.

"But....I'm Hungry...." said Monodramon.

"I'll kick your ass stupid dragon." said Takasaki felt irritated.

"I saw some light shining from there, let's go check it out." said Kudamon.

The others nodded and walked towards it.

There Yuki and the others saw R.S and Chinmon including something shining in another direction.
"It's a tag?" asked Kudamon.

"I'm not sure." said Takasaki and walked towards R.S.

Takasaki patted on R.S's shoulder.

R.S. and Chinmon both turned their heads.
- Shh.

Run, Noah, run! As fast as the wind! He told himself. He went as fast as his feet could carry him. The bird is closing in. He's not going to make it to the entrance before the other.

He tripped. Shoot.

The boy fell down on the floor, his arms in front of him to cushion his fall. His pants and palms were stained by dirt and he scraped his skin a little. He got up where he fell, and started running again, even though by now he knew there was utterly no chance he could escape. His eyes were filled with tears. There's no hope. He silently pleaded the tears to not fall out.

Falcomon speeded up, closing to the kid`s back. Seemed there was no escape...
Suddenly falcomon stopped, shaking his head. Bright light from the kid`s pocket came out, shining with pure fire.
- What... Is this shining light? - whispered Falcomon; her eyes were becoming normal.
- Don`t look at it! - roared Dracmon, but he was too late - he lost control over Hecate.

Noah stared in surprise at the light. He caught Hecate's gaze. For a moment the two stood still with the burning digivice between them. A look of understanding passed over Noah's face as he realized that the winged monster before him wasn't voluntarily evil. He smiled.

Hecate looked away with guilt, realizing what she tried to do. How could she let Dracmon control her like that? If the glowing thing hadn't appeared in time, she could have killed an innocent kid! Speaking of the thing, is that what she think it is? Falcomon slightly frowned as she looked at the digivice. This kid was a tamer. What in the world was he doing here in such a dangerous place, and without a digimon partner?

Hecate didn't have much time to wonder about the boy as she remembered Dracmon's presence. She turned around. Gotta deal with the bloodsucker first. "Get yourself out here, now." She told the boy. She didn't need to emphasize the urgency of the action, as she heard the boy's hasty footsteps, running away from the scene.

Hecate felt a twinge of loneliness as the boy left. It's not very comforting to know that she's alone with Dracmon in this dark, cold, cave.

- Soo... - whispered Darkmon, coming closer and smiling with his devolous smile - You wanted to show me your independence - you made it. You helped that kid escape - you`ve made it. But now I simply have no choice... Just to download your data instead! Undead Fang!

Dick flew out of a portal, decapitating Darkmon while screaming "Duex ex Machina!" he landed, sheathing his sword/digivice, smiling. "Sorry i'm late."

- Grash... - roared Darkmon, turning into data - Damned digidestined...
He dissolved into data.

Hecate sighed with relief, seeing Dracmon crushed into data. She gazed at the digidestined with curiosity. "Who are you?" She then noticed what Dick had in hand: a digivice and laughed. This cave seemed to be crowded with digidestined. They're everywhere!

"Why did you choose to help me?" She asked quietly. "And don't say it's out of goodness of your heart. I've heard enough of that nonsense from you humans."

"He gave me this." he held up the human spirit of darkness, "And i almost destroyed our world. i was paying him back." he looked in the direction noah ran, turning to hecate. "That boy, the one you were just chasing? he now belongs to you. he's your partner. together you shall become strong." he slashed another portal into the air with his digivice, appearing in the real world to find it being invaded. he fought them off, sending out his message.

A voice suddenly came out from Noah`s digivice.

...you should find the one that is half of you...together you are the one, but divided you are nothing...find your real partner, and then you`ll see the way...

Hecate's face froze. "You mean, like, a human partner? But I don't feel any links with... Dammit." She cursed as she sensed a thin channel of energy inside her opens. She turned her head to look at the way Noah had escaped. "How did you..." She turned her head around. just in time to see Dick's portal closes. "Looks like he's back where he's from." She said to no one in particular. Her talons kicked up a rock. She replayed the boy's words in her head.

"He now belongs to you."

Hecate laughed. If the boy had said it the other way around, she would had immediately put Noah on her list to assassin. She's tired of being owned by someone else. A very clever statement, but then again, she wouldn't expect anything less from the holder of the Spirit of Darkness.

Pulling on a thin thread of Noah's energy, Hecate began to track the child through the caves.

Noah stopped in his tracks. The voice had came so suddenly. He took out his digivice from his pocket again and puzzled over what it said.

"Wait up, kid!"

A familiar voice called. The boy turned around to see the bird monster running towards him. "It's you." He mumbled.

"Well. Looks like we're stuck with each other, all thanks to you." She replied.

The ground of the tunnel has started moving, reaping all above. It seems that the area became unstable when Dracmon was decapitated.


- I can`t kill you for now with my own powers... - whispered the voice from the darkness, forming the shadow of evil digimon - But I have the force to kill you by the powers of these dark tunnels...

The ground started shaking more and more mighty. The walls have started crushing.

- Run! – suddenly Noah and Hecate heared someone`s voice. It was Alex, running towards them, with Leormon after her – Run, you have to escape from here, everything will now explode!
Another footsteps. Yuki, Takasaki, Dracomon and Cudamon run out from the darkness.
- Alex! Open the portal – shouted Alex – They are still too weak to come with us!
The girl pointed her digivice on the spot near Noah.
- Digital Gate – open!
A large shining gate opened just near them.
- Use this portal to get to the real world! – Alex nodded on the gate – And hurry up, before it`s too late!
Yuki, Takasaki, Dracomon and Cudamon jumped in the portal and dissapeared.
- Hurry, what are you waiting for? – screamed the girl – We can`t stay here more!

Noah stared blankly at the others. The words never registered in his mind. Millions of questions swirled in his head, but only feelings of confusion, excitement, and fear triumphed. He stared at Alex and the digimon. How did they suddenly appear?

Hecate rolled her eyes. "It's a good thing you're paired up with me, because if your brain freezes this often, I can't imagine how you'll survive... Now, let's get out of here; I finally will get a chance to stretch my wings." She pushed the boy into the portal and then followed herself. Noah's eyes bulged as he stumbled through the portal.

They`ve appeared in the large park in (Noah`s native city). No digimons were around, except Hecate, but there were some people who were staring at the boy who has just appeared out of the shining portal.

- Take care! - shouted Alex from the portal, and it has closed, dissapearing. Yuki, Takasaki and their partners have dissapeared - the portal has thrown them back to their native town.

What for? ^_^ Now your quest is to escape the people in the park and come home. Talk to Hecate, you`ve met just a few minutes ago. Play football with friends... Just describe something from your life. And then the adventures will come.

Cause the Digital World is full of surprises... There are rumors of the Fountain of Tears, and the water from that fountain can cure any illness...

Hecate glanced at the crowd for a moment, then knew she was in the so-called "Real World." Where else would there be so many humans? Without another thought, she dove into the bushes and disappeared, leaving a dazed Noah standing in the park.

"I know this place..." Noah mumbled, trying hard to remember exactly where he was. But despite of all his effort, he could not remember. He sighed and began walking, then stopped, realizing that he didn't know where he was going. So he sat down in a bench and waited for a sign, for someone who would guide him back home.

Hecate, now standing on a tree branch like an oversized owl wearing a ninja jacket, gazes at the child. "Why isn't him going home?" She wondered. "Humans do have homes like us, right?" She noticed the strange glances people were sending to Noah. However, Noah seemed to be unaffected by the low whispers around him, as if he was used to it.

Hecate jumped to a nearby tree to hear more clearly what they were discussing.

"That kid, he's from St. Peter's, isn't he? I heard their kids are a bit, you know..."

"St. Peter's. Where's that?" Hecated wondered out loud.

"You know, that mental institute. It's where all the odd ones go. It's just around the block."

The other human looked strangely at the other. "I didn't ask that." They both looked around and into the tree. Hecate was already gone.

After believing she's finally safe, Hecate began to venture onto the tree Noah was under. "Psst, kid!" She said. The boy looked up and saw her. "Follow me.

Noah stood up and followed the digimon, who leaped her way from one tree to another, cleverly hidden among the leaves, guiding the boy.

They arrived at the building. Hecate dropped to the ground, standing behind Noah. "You should go in." She said. "I'll be... around." With that, she disappeared into the trees again. Noah heeded her advice and entered the building, where a nurse saw him and led him back to his room.

That was a rainy day, even more like a storm. The awfull wind was blowing all over the town, and lightning and thunder were reaping the sky.

Noah was sitting near the window, looking on the street. There were only several people in the streets...

A lightning lightened up the sky, and Noah has seen something in the park. There was a shimring light among the trees, that was hardly seen from the streets.

the mist slowly enveloped the park, as a digimon materialized. "Come out and play, little hybrid..." the large beast said, it's red eyes glowing
"Shit..." Dick said, hiding behind a tree, blody and beaten, with his right shoulder dislocated. "I thought you wanted to get stronger..." the digimon growled, as dick glanced over his shoulder to see a giant saurian wrapped in shadows. "Dammit! how can i identify it if i can't see it..." Keramon was hidden inside the digivice in his sword, healing himself where he had been hurt badly. one odd thing cought Dick's eye. the saurian seemed to be covered in a reflective metal, for each time light hit it, the reflections sparkled through the mist. Dick coughed up blood, sinking to the ground. "Boosted claw!"a scarlet armoured claw sliced easily through the tree, but Dick rolled away. the mist parted enough for him to see a monohorned scarlet head. "No..NO!"

the digimon chuckled. "That is right. look upon my perfect body and despair, for I AM CHAOSDRAMON!"

Original... But yeah, that might work. ^_^
