A Virus of a Soul: Entrance to the Darkness

"Grr. Candlemon can you make your light and less bright? They might see it!" Kuro asked, Candlemon crept farther back and Kuro leaned out. "I guess they are deciding what to do with that lion." He personally wouldn't leave it there...or would he. He wasn't really sure.

- Wha? - Alex turned her head - I guess I`ve heared something over there! Is might be the one who caused this black gear!

"EH!" Kuro breathed in and pushed Candlemon back before turning completely around and running into a corner and hiding from the people. "Shh. We need to stay quiet otherwise they will find us!" Kuro muttered.
"Maybe it would be better...." Candlemon said.
"No..." Kuro stated and pushed them in farther to keep from being seen.

- Hm... - Alex run ahead - I think I heared like someone just moved here! Well? Nothing...
Suddenly her digiegg cracked, and Popomon appeared.
- Popo!

Golden shine gathered around them, and Popomon digivolved to Ffrimon.
- You`re back! - Alex hugged baby digimon.
- I can sence the presence of other digimon here! - whispered Frimon.

"wha!" Kuro whispered and moved even farther back against the wall blocking out Candlemon's flame and holding his breath.

///Why is Kuro afraid of Alex?///

- Hm... Alex stopped in a few meters near Kuro.
- I guess I`m seeing things... - murmured she - What about you, Frimon?
- I can cence a digimon`s precence, - said Frimon - But I`m not certain that it wasn`t Saber Leomon. His smell overpowers everything.

"Welcome Frimon..." said Takasaki.

- Thanks! - smiled Frimon.
- Illusion... Maybe... - Alex sighed - Anyway, we have to go that way so probably we`ll meet the one who I`ve heared... Later...

(Kuro is just not used to being around people and when confronted will most of the time be mean or annoyed. This will change with time of course.)

Kuro breathed out. They were leaving. He would follow of course, something inside him was urging him to follow.

- Anyway, we`re coming that way where I`v heared strange noice, so be prepared - perhaps it`s a wild digimon that caused all this mess and me`re about to defeat him...

- Let`s go, Alex! - said he, following Alex in a tunnel - Tyzoon, Agumon, don`t be late!

Saber Leomon was hit by black gear. Alex said that maybe Kuro (that noice in tunnel) made it. Now they`re going in the tunnel where Kuro and Candlemon are hiding, cause it`s on the way down.

"Hey wait up Alex!" cried Yuki.

"She is so..." sighed Takasaki and chased them.

- Hurry! - Alex sighed - They can be really slow...
- Hey, Alex... - Leormon sniffed - I can sence a digimon again. And it`s not Leomon.

Kuro breathed in not knowing what to do! He didn't want to have to confront them! He grabbed Candlemon by the wing and started to jog down the dark tunnel as quietly as possible (of course he still made noise) and asked Candlemon to be as dark as possible. He didn't know what would happen.

- Strange... - Alex stopped behind entrance to the dark tunnel - I could swear I saw light here... Well, nevermind. Let` go.
They passed Kuro`s hideout and walked down in the caves.

Kuro was still running down the tunnel not sure where to go. In the dark he couldn't find a place to hide or anything. His breath caught as he tripped and fell to the ground. Candlemon's flame lit up in concern.

- Huh? - Alex heared something - Someone`s running from here! Come on, it might be the one who hurt Leomon!

"NO! They heard me!" Kuro got up and started to run, but his knee was bruised and he could only limp. Candlemon was behind him trying to help him along.

- Light! - Alex pointed the direction - He`s trying to escape! Leormon!

Liamon!

- I`m on it! - Liamon run ahead.

"No! They're coming faster! Quick Candlemon do something!"

"Melted Wax!" Candlemon says and throws globs of wax behind them. "That might slow them down!"

Kuro limped on.

- Whoa! - Alex got in wax and felt on the ground.
- Alex! - Liamon pulled the girl from wax - Are you okay?
- Sure! - Alex got on his neck - Come on, follow them!

"It's not slowing them down!!!" Kuro said and tried to search for a place to hide.

"Lava Loogie!" Candlemon said, shooting three fireballs into the darkness behind them.

- Roar! - Liamon passed fireballs and landed just behind Kuro - Not so fast!
