"NO!!!!" Kuro screamed, "Get away from me!!!!!!"

As he screamed his digivice started to glow...

Candlemon digivolve to.....DEVIMON!!!

- What? - Alex was shocked - So it was you who attacked SaberLeomon with your dark gears as you did long ago with File Island!
She jumped off Liamon and pulled her cards from the pocket.
- You`ll pay for this! DigiModify! Rapidmon`s rapid transpirtation activate!
- I`m on it! - Liamon jumped ahead - Critical Bite!
He was aiming at Devimon in attempt to paralise him with his bite.

"No...that was not me." Devimon said in a deep voice. Kuro lay cowering on the ground at the huge digimon.

"Hells Contract!" Devimon said holding his arm out toward the attacking digimon and sent out a huge dark blast of energy flying towards Liamon

- Thunder of the Kings! - Liamon shot rays of electricity at Devimon, and two attacks exploded.
- You won`t beat me with this attack, - Liamon jumped ahead again - Critical Bite!
- Why then you were running? - asked Alex - Why do you attack us now?

Kuro obviously ignored the question moving his attention to Devimon holding up his digivice. "You can do it!"

Devimon smiled and as Liamon lunged at him he disappeared. Devimon reappeared behind him and said "Death Claw!" and extended his arm with his claws aiming at Liamon's back.

(I don't want to say that he's cheap, but i read something about devimon and it said he could teleport.)

It can. ^_^ But Alex used Teleportation card too. Remember that.

Liamon suddely dissapeared, reappearing in 10 Liamons around Devimon. Actually, it was a single Liamon, but moving in a blink of an eye.
- Critical Bit! - they all jumped at Devimon.

"Not so fast! I won't give up!" Devimon screamed, "Evil Wing!" His wings opened sending out a huge gust of dark energy all around him.

"You can do it!" Kuro said again, his digivice glowing more.

- Not so fast! - Alex slashed another card.

Digivolution...
Liamon digivolves to.....
Loader Leomon!

- Loader Morning Star!

"Oh no! He's different now!" Kuro said (he still doesn't totally get the whole levels of digivolution.)

Devimon put his hands to his chest to catch the morning star and was flung back into the cave wall. A hand flew out of the dust a high speeds, Devimon focusing all his speed into the strike. "I won't lose to you! If that is Kuro's wish then it will be done!!!!" His hand started to glow dark as it flew through the air. "Darkness strike!"

- What a shame... - LoaderLeomon took his strike with no harm - I`m a Perfect level digimon now. You are only Adult level digimon. Your attacks are no match for my defense armour. Now surrender - or feel the power of Perfect level!

"Guh...Curse you..." Devimon said as he sank to the floor of the cave. "You will pay...some day." He gritted his teeth once more and swept Kuro up in his arms and flew over Loaderleomon deeper into the cave and into the darkness.

- You won`t get away! - roared LoaderLeomon.
- Stop! - saod Alex.
LoaderLeomon stopped.
- But why?
- Cause he`s a digidestined. Can`t you see his digivice? He and his digimon juct couldn`t make that black gear.
- Yeah... Right...
- Anyway, he escaped, and now we have to go deeper in the caves to find the center of disturbance and eliminate it.

She got on LoaderLeomon`s neck, and they continued going down.

Kuro's hair was flailing back as Devimon sped through the dark cave. Kuro could see the raw flesh where Devimon grabbed the Morning Star.

"So this is your digivolved form?" Kuro asked.

"Yes I am now the Champion level digimon Devimon." He said without looking down.

- Anyway, who was those Devimon and that Digidestined... - murmured Alex riding LoaderLeomon - LoaderLeomon, we must hurry!
- Gotcha!
LoaderLeomon run faster, and in a few minutes the tunnel ended in a gigantic cave with a pit in the center.

"Looks like we did nothing..." said Takasaki.

Yuki nodded as approval and catch up Alex in full speed with Takasaki.

- You`re really slow, - said LoaderLeomon jokingly - And almost missed al the fun. Anyway, what should we do now? This lake seems to be gigantic, were should we go?
- Hm... - Alex looked at Yuki and Takasaki - You`ve been here with my brother earlier. What is this place?

"Cavern Cave...I think...." said Yuki.

"This...we can't remember every places we Alex..." said Takasaki.

- Kay... - Alex looked ahead, but didn`t found any sign of second tonnel - It means that we need to get down in this pit... Perfecto...

"Exacta." said Yuki.

"Well....let's get going..." said Takasaki.

- Okay... - Alex climbed on LoaderLeomon`s back - Let`s go, LoaderLeomon!
- Yes.

Loader Leomon started going down in the pit.

Devimon and Kuro were looking down at the other digidestined. They were hanging upside down from the ceiling looking at the pit.

"Let's follow." Kuro smirked.

Paladin Greymon lightly stepped on the ground, his gaze was on Leomon. "Pour friend." He muttered and reached out his sword, gently touching the tip to the digimon's shoulder. The champion level started to glow slightly and then returned normal, breathing more easily.

Paladin Greymon set his sights on the dark hole and started after the digidestine.

- This pit seems so be endless... - murmured Alex, holding LoaderLeomon`s hair - Well, at lease no monsters are here to attack... Exept ours...
- Funny, - said LoaderLeomon - Hey, I guess I smell something.
- Again?

"Wanna go greet them?" asked Yuki.

- Who - them? - Alex looked up bit didn`t see anything - I can`t see anyone there. Perhaps I`m hearing things...

Kuro swore lightly to himself. They kept getting closer and closer to him. If he had any common sense he would leave and leave them alone, but he....had this urge to follow. Like it was his destiny.
Thankfully the black of Devimon covered his white hair and they looked like more of the rock.
