A Virus of a Soul: Entrance to the Darkness

- It was nothing, - Alex turned back to the pit - Just a rock.
They continurd going down the pit when suddenly...
CRACK!
- Whaaa..... - shouted them all falling into darkness.

"NO!" Kuro yelled as he heard the digidestine scream, "Go Devimon!" Devimon detached himself and sped down through the air. Kuro could barely hold on. As they passed the kids Devimon spun around and latched his arms to the walls of the pit to catch them!

- Auch! - Alex shaked her head - That was some kind of a pit...
Then she understood that Devimon has just saved them.
- Th... Thanks, but who are you after all? And why do you eother fight or help us?

Kuro grunted and looked away, "Shut up." He muttered as Devimon flew up out of the hole. They landed and Devimon de-digivolved back into Candlemon.



Kuro just stood there without looking at the other digidestine, not knowing what to say.

- You are sure not familiar with politenes, - said Alex growing cold - What are you doing here and who are you. Tell us now.

"I don't have to tell you anything!!!" Kuro yelled back, "You had better thank your lucky butts I was here." He grumbled again and turned around facing Candlemon.
Candlemon flapped over to the other kids, "I'm sorry for his rudeness! He's always been al-"
"Candlemon!" Kuro said and Candlemon stopped talking.

- Well, perfect, - Alex grow cold even more - First you attack us, then save, then speak rude... I`m fine with that.
She turned around and looked at her digivice.
- Third level of the caves... Interesting...

"Watch your sarcasm fool!!" Kuro said getting in Alex's face, "Next time I won't save you. Let's go Candlemon." with that he marched off.

"Listen." Candlemon said in a whisper. "He's always been alone. He has never had anyone to talk to so...this is kinda new to him." Candlemon made a simpithetic look and flew after Kuro.

- Hey... - Alex clinched her fists.
- Alex, - Leormon touched her hand - Let him go.
- He`s... - Alex nearly roared - He`s not even rude, he`s... He`s...
- I know, - said Leormon looking at Kuro and Candlemon going away - And also I know what is it - being alone. He is not familiar with having someone around him except his partner. Cool down.
- Whatever, - Alex turned around.
- Let this kiddy be with himself, if he wants... - said mysterious voice coming out from nowhere - I guess you`re right, Leormon.
- Thanks, but who and where are you? - asked Leormon.
Darkness in front of them moved and Devimon appeared.
- Devimon? - asked Alex surprised - You...
- I`m not that foolish partner of kiddish boy, - smiled Devimon - I serve as a gatekeeper here, in Shadow levels of Cavern. Be carefull, digidestined... This path may be awfully dreadfull for you all...
He turned to Kuro.
- Especially by you, Kuro...
Devimon laughed and dissapeared in darkness.

"That was close..." said Yuki.

"that guy name Kuro....seems just the old me..." smirked Takasaki.

Kuro stopped as the Devimon appeared. "What do you mean?" He seemed almost scared. Kuro still wasn't exactly sure where they were.

- Why should we answer to you? - asked Alex - go where you were going. But be sure you won`t run back.
- Alex! - whispered Leormon - Calm down, he`s a digidestined just like us.
- Like I care... - Alex opened digital map - Here. Shadow Layers... Wow... It says that Shadow Layers are hidden in the depth of Cavern, and guarded by Medusamon and... Empiremon. Wow, he`s a Mega, and he has a Dark Crest... We should be carefull going here...

"i wasn't talking to you fool! I was asking the Devimon!" Kuro's cheeks were getting red from anger.
"Now calm down-" Candlemon said before getting a look from Kuro.

(Can I also be attacked by a Guilmon or Growlmon once I get my crest? My idea won't really work otherwise. Really just some dino digimon.

- Oh, well, - said Alex coldly - You were talking to Devimon when he already dissapeared? Nice. Come on with this. And if you`ll call me once more a fool - I`l make you shut up once and for all, got it? And I don`t care you`re another digidestined. Perhaps, if words doesn`t help it, fists can fix you.

///Sure but I have no clue how the party will go if Kuro doesn`t stand anyone///

(Yeah I understand what you mean, It's really hard for me to write about a mean character, but he is supposed to have a realization when candlemon becomes a digiegg and he starts being nice, once he gets used to being around people.)

"Fine..." Kuro muttered and trudged after the group staying a few feet behind the group at all times. Candlemon floated next to him always with a nervous glance at everyone else.

- Anyway, this cave... Cavern... - Alex stopped - Hey!
The map from the digivice was gone, covered in statics.
- Perfect... - whispered she - I guess we have troubles...
- Loor! - Leormon hit Alex on the ground, but the shadow mit him instead, and he hit the wall.
- Leormon! - Alex run towards him, but the shadow hit her too and she felt down unconciously. The shadow stood in front of Kuro and roared. It was BlackWarGreymon.

"Hey if he gets his digi crest then we'll be in trouble if he gets to digivolvehis digimon..."said Yuki.

"NO!" Kuro screamed and Candlemon flew in front of him, protecting him.

Candlemon digivolve to.........Devimon!!!!

Devimon reached out and tried to hit Blackwargreymon!

Without saying anything, BlackWarGreymon avoides his attack anв hits back. His claws rip Devimon`s Wing, throwing Devimon in the wall, and BlackWarGreymon turned to Kuro.
- Runtime is over, - said he, raising his arm with sharp claws.

Kuro just stared in awe at the mega level digimon. He couldn't move, it was so frightening!
"No!!!!!" Devimon screamed and launched himself at Blackwargreymon, slamming into his side.

Black Wat Greymon spinned, and Devimon missed again, hitting the rocks instead. Black WarGreymon`s eyes were white - it means that he was in fury.
- Loader Morning Star! - LoaderLeomon jumped at him, but got hit by mighty claws and hit the wall near Devimon - He`s powerfull...

Black War Greymon moved towards Kuro, not even looking at other digidestined and their partners.

"NO!" Kuro stepped back against the wall, "GET AWAY FROM ME!!!!"

Devimon groaned, trying to get up.

Sharp claws were shining in the darkness of the cave.
- You never had anyone to cover your back, - said BlackWarGreymon quietly - Neither had I. You are digidestined, and I can feel that you`re scared to death. How pathetic...
He re-appeared near Devimon, clinching his claws on his neck.
- How loosy... Kuro, I have a favor to ask. Come with me, join me as your partner, and I`ll lrave this fools. Otherwise I`ll kill them all.
He clinched his claws even harder, and Devimon`s data became unstable.
